Bangkok Transportation
Thailand's domestic flight network is excellent and serves Bangkok well. Air travel is probably the best method of transport for travellers in Thailand. Bangkok can also be reached from Malaysia and Kuala Lumpur by train but these journeys can be prolonged affairs with numerous passport checks.
Arriving by Air
The busy and modern Bangkok International Airport is Bangkok's gateway to the world.
Getting Around Bangkok
For travelling around Bangkok city centre, choose either standard air-conditioned taxis or tuk-tuks - fast-moving, three-wheeled open taxis - rather than opting to drive through the busy streets. Water taxis are a fun way to travel up the main Chao Phraya River.
